Going through my old files trying to clean things up and I came across this. The spare key to my S4. The S4 I sold almost 2 years ago... Oh well

I know if I owned that car now, I’d be REALLY grateful if you sent it.

I'd say it's as bulletproof as the S4s engine.

Why? It’s been 2 years. If it’s still with the same people they probably had a new cut otherwise it could have been bounced around a bunch of times. I say keep it as a momento. I’ve got spare keys from my contour dakota and sc2 just cause

Traded it in, and I had 3 keys for it so the next person got 2.

Those keys are great. Really solid and heavy, when I was driving an Allroad I didn’t want to give it up.

I found a spare to my old Civic the other day. Which isn’t all that important, since it’s a ‘99 and you can have a key cut anywhere. EXCEPT: I sold the car to my next door neighbor, so if the zombies ever attack...I have a car to escape in that’s marginally larger than a Fiat (but far more likely to leave you stranded on the side of the road to get eaten).

And with that conclusion, I should probably just walk over and give them the key.

In my experience, the Audi flip-keys are far more bulletproof than their 4.2L V8s. Never had trouble with the keys.. then engine on the other hand... lets just say that the Acura flip-key in my pocket now feels like it’s gonna crumble into pieces every time I start the (so far pretty reliable) engine.

Because I would be grateful. They may not be, who am I to say?

Now carry it around attempting to unlock every S4 like yours. Maybe you’ll get lucky and find the car.

Man, I was hoping you knew who you sold it to so you could prank them. I was thinking you could go by in the middle of the night and turn their car around in their driveway a few days in a row...
